Product Overview

Recombinant Trypsin EDTA Solution is a defined, animal component-free solution developed for efficient dissociation of adherent cell types from culture surfaces and tissues. The EDTA component accelerates the dissociation action of the trypsin enzyme. This solution is optimized for sensitive cells, such as hPSCs and hMSCs.

Recombinant Trypsin EDTA Solution is a pure enzyme solution, which maximizes the yield of functionally viable cells from culture vessels, while preventing toxicity induced by other contaminating proteases. This solution does not contain undesirable proteins such as carboxypeptidase A and chymotrypsin, which are commonly found in porcine or bovine-derived trypsin solutions. In addition, Recombinant Trypsin EDTA Solution eliminates the risk of viruses and other potential adventitious agents that can be carried in animal-derived components.
