Penicillin-Streptomycin 10X Solution is a concentrated dual antibiotic solution used as a supplement to cell culture media to control bacterial contamination. The Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution effective against most gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Penicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. Streptomycin inhibits prokaryote protein synthesis.
