F12 Nutrient Mixture (Ham's)
Nutrient Mixture F-12 was designed and developed specifically for the growth of Primary Rat Hepatocytes (PRHs) and Rat Prostate Epithelial Cells (RPECs). F-12 is based on Ham’s F-10 medium with increased concentrations of choline, inositol, putrescine and amino acids. Nutrient Mixture F-12 is also the medium of choice for a Clonal Toxicity Assay (CTA) and has been utilized with low density, serum-free growth of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells.
