To Our Scientific Community,
First and foremost, we hope you, your family, and colleagues remain safe and healthy. As we closely monitor COVID-19, we are beginning to see the impact on the life sciences supply chain on a global scale – ultimately affecting a multitude of products and services across the industry. However, we intend to continue to operate during the crisis to ensure that we supply scientific and healthcare providers with the services, products, and support they need during this difficult time.

We are currently experiencing a very high demand for cell culture ingredients needed to perform research and testing of COVID-19. We encourage you to connect regularly with your local Account Manager or our Customer Service Team on a regular basis for the latest information on product availability.

As we are all facing a rapidly changing environment, Team BI-USA will continue to monitor local, state, and federal guidelines daily. As an essential business to the healthcare and life sciences, we have taken additional precautionary measures to protect our employees and families with a few changes in our shipping policy noted below:

  • Normal shipping on Monday-Wednesday for orders received between 9AM ET and 2PM ET.
  • Reduced shipping on Thursday for orders received between 9AM ET and 12PM ET.
During this uncertain time, we ask for your patience as we all navigate the unknown, and rest assured we are all in this together and we will get through this – together.

Dear Valued Customers,

Biological Industries USA is actively monitoring the ongoing uncertainty of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the potential impact on key manufacturing operations for the life science industry. The safety and well-being of our team members, customers, and families is our top priority and we wanted to communicate some of the precautions we are taking.

We are increasing our vigilance in our normal practices and have implemented an employee protection program to be proactive in reducing any chance for exposure to the virus. We are following strict CDC guidelines.

As of now, BI-USA does not see an impact on the integrity of our global supply chain and/or distribution. We have processes in place to mitigate the risk of shortages and are confident about our ability to continue to supply customers with media and reagents at this time.

We will continue to monitor measures imposed by governments worldwide and the resulting impact on courier and freight services in the coming weeks and will ensure you are kept up to date with those developments.
